This is why we prefer to use walk behind mowers. Using walk behind mowers minimizes turf damage. We also prefer to remove the clippings for a better looking cut on each lawn during the spring and fall. However, during the summer months, we like to return the clippings back to your lawn to return the most crucial nutrient, Nitrogen, back to your lawn. This is also useful in helping to shade your lawn from the hot sun.
